On Tuesday 30th April we held our first ever national conference in Birmingham. The day was a roaring success with excellent feedback from delegates who attended from all over the country.

Fully booked after just six weeks of announcing details, the day focused on the adult skills budget in 13/14. Hosted by respected sector consultant, Beej Kaczmarczyk, we covered some of the key areas in the next academic year, including loans, audit and innovative curriculum delivery. Nick Chomyk from the Skills Funding Agency provided the latest guidance on the 13/14 funding rules for both classroom and work based provision.
